CAPE COD TRAVEL GUIDE EDITOR'S CHOICE AWARD

We have just heard that we have been awarded the Cape Cod Travel Guide Editor’s Choice Award . We are thrilled to receive this prestigious award and this is what they wrote:

The Oxford is everything you always wanted in an English country house, with its large wrap-around porch, wind chimes and the calming sound of fountain water. Stylish and friendly co-owners Trevor Pinker, formerly a family doctor in the UK, and Stephen Mascilo, former Human Resources director for InterContinental Hotels, opened this treasure in 1998. From the wildly extravagant front gardens to the 480 thread-count linens, it is clear this is not your average guesthouse. With a huge repeat following (some weeks in July and August are booked through 2011), it is wise to reserve well in advance. Choose from seven classically furnished rooms with tasteful artwork, terry robes, WiFi and flat-screen televisions. One room offers a separate entrance; another, a loft bathroom with ocean views. The inn features plenty of comfortable places to hang out with a book or a special someone. A generous continental breakfast is served each morning featuring home-baked cakes and breads, yogurt, cereal and fresh fruit. Freshly baked cookies daily, nightly wine hour and fresh flowers everywhere add to the Oxford’s charm. Open all year.
